HOLLIS VINEYARD

Here is a private vineyard project located outside of Newberg, Oregon that came with an incredible view! The owners needed to transform over a mile of steep, rough-cut access roads into a smooth, safe and continuous driveway to serve a residence and the adjacent vineyards. We began by rough grading the road bed and then added several hundred tons of crushed rock as a leveling course for the pavement to follow. Three inches of asphalt was installed around the home and on the roadway in varying widths as it wound through the fields and timberland to connect the property to the county road above. The final product included paved field approaches and pull-outs for traffic to by-pass one another, and the paved surface provides the owners, workers and emergency services with excellent accessibility.
